Hi I’m Jennifer!

I love helping people heal the pain that’s kept them stuck.

I see you there, feeling stuck and alone in a relationship that once brought you joy. Maybe you and your partner have been caught in an endless cycle of arguments, or perhaps you’ve grown so distant that it feels like you’re living separate lives under the same roof. It’s painful, isn’t it? You deserve to feel loved and connected, but right now, it seems like the weight of unresolved issues is pulling you down.

And then for those of you individuals who have faced trauma (whether it’s childhood, medical trauma, relationship, etc), the memories linger, casting shadows over your current relationships, making it hard to trust again or open up fully to another person. I completely understand the heaviness that comes with these feelings, and I want you to know that you are not alone.

But it’s not just adults who are feeling this strain. As a parent, you may be facing your own set of challenges when it comes to your child’s emotional well-being. Watching your child struggle can be heart-wrenching, leaving you feeling helpless and unsure of how to support them. Whether they are dealing with anxiety, behavioral issues, or emotional turmoil, it can add an immense layer of stress to your family life. The desire to protect and guide your child is strong, and I’m here to help you navigate these tough times together.

Significant information about me:

I earned both my undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Utah, which laid a strong foundation for my career in mental health. I have spent two years working as a hospital social worker for Intermountain Health Care, where I gained valuable experience supporting patients through various challenges. Additionally, for the past six years, I have volunteered with organizations that assist sex-trafficked individuals and support the homeless population in Utah. These experiences have deepened my understanding of trauma, resilience, and the importance of compassionate care in facilitating healing and growth.

When I’m not working

When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me at home with my fiance and dog, skiing, being with family and friends, traveling, or going on hikes. I value having a full life with deep and meaningful relationships and growing myself and my knowledge.

Guiding You Toward Healing, Growth, and Connection

In our sessions, we’ll take a tailored approach to address each of these concerns. For couples, we will create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your relationship dynamics, strengthen communication, and work towards rebuilding the love and trust that may feel lost.

For individuals grappling with trauma, we’ll focus on understanding how past experiences shape your current reality and help you develop strategies to navigate those feelings, fostering healing and personal growth along the way. If you’ve been dealing with chronic health struggles or medical trauma, know that I have the experience, both as a therapist and as an individual who has dealt with it myself, to help you process that.

And when it comes to working with children, we will employ age-appropriate strategies to help them express their feelings and build resilience. Together, we’ll empower both you and your child, ensuring your family can thrive.

Imagine this as your journey toward healing: after working with me, you’ll feel a renewed sense of hope and connection in your relationships—whether with your partner, within yourself, or as a family. It won’t just be about overcoming the pain; it will be about transforming your experiences into strength and growth. You don’t have to navigate this path alone; I’m here, ready to help you take the first step toward a brighter future, both for you and your family.
